Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Information Systems or related Field; related work experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree.
Three years’ experience in health care in a facility or facilities comparable to Kansas University Hospital Authority with involvement in managing receiving, distribution and inventory control.
At least 2 years’ experience at a management level with budget responsibility in a healthcare organization of comparable complexity.
Knowledge of healthcare receiving, distribution and inventory control, workflow, and operating procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems regarding receiving, distribution and inventory control.
Demonstrated professionalism and superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams from all levels of the organization.
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and levels of importance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills as well as independent judgment and reasoning.
