Test Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products or product components. Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups and guide and direct junior personnel on test setup and performance. Act as a liaison for outside suppliers establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items and analyze and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors. Participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments under general supervision. Review progress and evaluate results, plan and assign personnel to given projects or tasks, recommend changes in procedures, operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and review progress with management.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with conducting test and evaluation activities and documenting results
-Experience with Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development and staffing process
-Experience with the preparation of strategy, studies, plans, and analyses in support of test outcomes
-Ability to work early and late shifts outside of core hours, as needed
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with communications systems testing and with writing and supporting military test plans and summary reports
-Experience with the T&E requirements of the defense acquisition system
-Experience with Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) programs and initiatives
