Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Student Radiologic Technician to join our growing Radiology team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Per Diem. Variable shifts.
High School Diploma or GED
Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
Current enrollment in a Rad Tach program with completion of at least one quarter or semester of clinicals required.
Must be eligible for Washington State licensure and ARRT registry upon graduation required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Student Radiologic Technician you will provide Radiologic care to patients
for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic
disorders, assists physician as required and does related work as
Performs routineradiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following evaluation of the physicalcondition of the patient.
Assists physicians inlocating patient radiographs.
Answers telephone andfollows through as necessary.
Receives examinationrequest and confirms it with the patient chart or physician orders to includethe appropriateness of the procedure.Consults with the Radiologist as needed.
Prepares patient forprocedure. Readies equipment forspecific procedure to be done. Operatesequipment, both fixed, portable machines, CR, PACS and DR.
Processes, reviews quality,and prepares PACS Images for physicians interpretation.
Completes appropriatedocumentation as prescribed by the department and for quality controlactivities.
Performs transport dutiesas needed.
