Exec. Director Therapy Area Head position in greater-Boston, MA

Description

• Globally established Biopharmaceutical company
• The role will have head up and have accountability for all statistics in a key therapy area.
• Group consists of numerous trials in Phases I, II, III and Registrational, with a weighting towards Phases I and II
• Lead, manage, support and develop a team of four individual contributors and one manager
• Influence strategic direction
• Given a good portion of the pipeline is Phase I & II, the new hire will have the opportunity to move the needle on the internal R&D work coming through.
• Network cross-functionally within the organization
• Senior Director or Exec. Director level

Requirements                                        

• PhD in a related discipline, or a master’s with supplementary experience
• Although therapy experience would of course be of benefits, what’s more important is identifying someone that can demonstrate how they have adapted to, and learnt, new/other therapy areas
• Sought is a dynamic leader, capable of bringing innovation and the next level of pioneering stats on go/no go decisioning.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to discuss statistical concepts to non-statistically trained individuals
• Self-motivation
