We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The External Loss Data system (ELD) is the key repository of industry-wide operational loss data to assess and inform operational risk assessments internally in Wells Fargo and support reporting. It is foundational for many of the assessment efforts in the company to quantify operational losses for multiple regulatory assessments, such as scenario analysis, enterprise risk identification etc.

The Regulatory Reporting Team within Operational Risk Loss and Capital Analysis is seeking an Operational Risk Consultant 5 (ORC5).

  • Build out ELD process to involve risk type programs in reviewing and providing credible challenge of front line responses to ELD events.
  • Providing training to risk type programs.
  • Exploring future state enhancements for ELD such as enhanced enrichment initiatives and reporting requirements.
  • Serving as point of contact and subject matter expert for the Business Process Management (BPM) Program for the Operational Risk Events (ORE) Data Assurance & Reporting Teams.
  • Coordinating requirements between the enterprise teams and subject matter experts within the ORE Team.
  • Ensuring all processes are included and coordinate efforts to have appropriate documentation for each.
  • Coordinating with multiple review groups (e.g. Data Governance Process Program (DGPP), Governance & Oversight (G&O), and Report Mapping & Issue Identification Program (RMII)) and process changes that include development of reporting requirements, enhanced control implementation and process governance documentation.
