Human Resources develops and implements people strategies to support Wells Fargo’s business objectives. This group manages compensation and benefits, human resource service centers, systems and payroll, finance, team member relations and assistance, talent management, learning and development, and recruiting. Job Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive support for Global Payroll Services Leader, including planning, scheduling, maintaining, and executing a variety of programs to support the enterprise team. First line of defense for highest level WF Senior Executive escalations supporting SVP and SR Payroll Manager with highly confidential data and events. Must have a positive attitude and experience with planning, initiating, and monitoring change management activities, in-support of GPS initiatives and the GPS Leadership team. Ability to work cross culturally- understanding unique cultural needs to achieve communication effectiveness and collaboration. Functional ability to build relationships with business partner and support roles will be a key attribute of the selected candidate’s skills. Proven ability to collaborate with others, initiate action and complete challenging assignments. Roles require the ability to work through complex and sensitive business challenges consistently and effectively through collaboration and transparency.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of tax experience, accounting experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of payroll experience

  • Payroll tax experience
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll processes as part of a human resources function
  • Program and project management skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Ability to perform quality assurance audits
  • Experience creating reports in response to management, audit, or regulatory requirements
  • Change management experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data
  • Microsoft Excel experience designing and running macros
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources
  • Strong Overpayment knowledge
  • Ability to navigate difficult and sensitive conversations across all levels of the organization
  • Oversees data maintenance and ensures complete and accurate record of payroll information
  • Provides tax and payroll information for the purposes of reports and payroll preparation and distribution
