Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides a wide variety of clerical duties to support the executive team. Strong Excel knowledge is required as this role creates and updates spreadsheets tracking multiple data points. Monitors and tracks medical certification requirements to ensure all medical personnel stay current per facility guidelines. Nurtures and develops relations with external vendors and coordinates lunches as appropriate. Coordinating the clinic on-call provider schedules and communicating effectively to all involved parties. Creates presentations using PowerPoint.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


  • Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum one year of proven strong customer service with an exceptional ability to listen and communicate with others
  • Minimum one year of medical office and EMR experience required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and prioritize duties.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work well whether independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient understanding of entire Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, grasp, handle, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Employee will be walking or standing for 80% of the time in this role. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, non-exempt: 40 hours/week
  • Day Shift Monday – Friday.
  • No evenings or weekends.

Employment At-Will

Employment with Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Surgery Center is at will. This means your employment is for an indefinite period of time and it is subject to termination by you or Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Surgery Center, with or without cause, with or without notice, and at any time.
