Work Shift:

2ND SHIFT (United States of America)

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsible for loading and unloading of trucks using forklift

Responsible for making sure trailer wheels are chocked on EVERY trailer before loading/unloading

Responsible for making sure counts are correct and notify lead or supervisor of any problems

Responsible for forklift inspections at the beginning and end of each shift and changing batteries as needed

Responsible for unloading product and ingredients to the department in an efficient manner that ensures the optimum efficiency of the entire department.

Responsible for EIM computerized scanning of product movements and inventories.

May be required to drive a truck

Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management

PHYSICAL – Strong, must be able to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds and sit on the forklift for long periods of time.

EDUCATION – Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.

RATE OF WORK – moderately fast

QUALITY OF WORK – must be neat with work

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS – must be able to handle responsibility and have good communication skills and operate forklift without causing damage to product or equipment.

ENVIRONMENT – Must be able to work around breader dust and in a temperature of 50 degrees F or less.
