The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support in the areas of Corporate HR, Employee Relations, Performance Management, New Hire On-Boarding and Employee Retention activities. He/she will serve as an integral partner to the HR Team, providing support to leaders throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships quickly and have strengths in organization. This position will report into the Corporate HR Manager and will be based in the Katy, TX Corporate HQ.

Essential Job Functions:

NEW HIRE PROCESS:

  • Process all new hire on-boarding and paperwork
  • Manage UltiPro system for processing new hire on-boarding paperwork
  • Scheduled orientation for new hires, greet them and prepare for presentation each Monday
  • Send managers necessary information to prepare for new hires; assist in creating itineraries for employees
  • Process manager and employee satisfaction surveys, seeking feedback on quality of hire; secure data to report to leadership
  • Send reminders for benefits enrollment within first 30 days
  • Create LinkedIn Learning accounts for all new hires

CORPORATE HR / EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:

  • Assist Corporate HR Manager with employee performance and behavior counseling and documentation
  • Coordinate data for the monthly staff meetings.
  • Assist managers with questions regarding FMLA, benefits, etc.
  • Process Change of Status forms
  • Track Exit Interviews
  • Assist with coordinating data needed for monthly HR Scorecard and formalizing into PowerPoint deck

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:

  • Assist Corporate HR Manager with Goal Setting, Mid-Year Review and Year-End Review Process
  • Send out company announcements regarding process timeline and deadlines
  • Run reports to determine employees who have not completed the process and send reminders
  • Create spreadsheets for calibration sessions with Directors and above

EMPLOYEE RETENTION:

  • Assist Corporate HR Manager with retention strategy activities
  • Assist with roll up of Stay Interview results to create presentation for leadership
  • Become a member of the “Great Place to Work” committee tasked with creating events and activities to engage the workforce
  • Assist with creations of career paths, succession planning and development plans for employees
  • Support the Rewards & Recognition process / system

Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Must have 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources – serving as an HR Assistant
  • Knowledge of HR laws
  • Exposure to Recruiting process in high volume recruiting environment
  • Proficient with Word and Excel, PowerPoint a plus
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience creating and maintaining weekly, monthly, and recruiting reports
  • Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to think differently and move fast
  • Analytical mindset that can identify and solve problems
  • Proven to be organized and task-oriented
  • Interest in streamlining and improving processes by recommending improvements
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities
