Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts
  • Acts as outward - facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts
  • Builds relationships with employer / group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day - to - day service delivery.
  • Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs
This function includes employees who are in dedicated on - site service roles. Jobs in this function may work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Account management jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales - related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band.

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma / GED (or higher) WITH +5 years in a similar role
  • 3+ years of experience working within the PBM industry or a similar Account Management Role
  • 1+ years of experience in influencing internally and externally with soft power, driving cross functional collaborations, and negotiating win - win solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite in Office Products (Microsoft Excel - the abilibty to create spreadsheets, Microsoft Word - create documents , Microsoft PowerPoint - create presentations)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) in any field of study
  • 5+ years of experience working within the PBM industry
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written, oral, and active listening communication skills. Demonstrated ability to message, position, and present information for maximum customer impact and influence
  • Proven ability to ascertain client needs through active listening skills, and consultatively work with clients to achieve business objectives
