The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Manage the Oracle client general ledger chart of accounts and cross validation rules to insure accurate financial statements and reporting
  • Assign financial coding to customers and transactions
  • Maintain Client and FQA coding master, PeopleSoft transaction distributor, and Oracle consolidation mapping tables
  • Sox control owner of client/customer affiliate mapping
  • Oracle client subledger superuser responsibilities and related application configurations in production and test environments
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
  • Involvement in the monthly/quarterly 'close' process
  • Provide Oracle functional and GL coding training and guidance
  • Participate in new business integration, automation, and process improvement projects
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
  • Develop innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree with concentration in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience
  • Experience with Oracle General ledger systems
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Services or Healthcare experience
  • Financial tagging experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Hyperion Essbase, and Microsoft Access
