VCU Health System's Clinical Enterprise Administration is seeking a full time Vice President Strategic Alliances & Market Development. The VP will serve as the lead executive responsible for developing, organizing and executing strategic alliances and market development opportunities across the Commonwealth on behalf of the VCU Health clinical enterprise. Responsible for all companies under the VCU Health umbrella. .

Responsibilities
Analyzes new market and business growth opportunities, manages fiscal and operational feasibility studies, and provides recommendations to Senior VCU Health System Executives and Board leaders. Exercises leader maturity to align with the VCU Health vision, manage resources and build capability for all strategic alliance and market development activities. Aligns strategic business alliances with academic strategies for education and research as appropriate.

Researches business ventures and provides focused business thinking and recommendations to achieve organizational objectives for growth and related strategic imperatives. Analyzes new market and business growth opportunities, manages fiscal and operational feasibility studies, and provides recommendations to Senior VCU Health System Executives and Board leaders.

Designs and implements database, dashboards and reports to track outcomes of ventures, predict market share trends and provide senior leadership with appropriate analytics for decision making.

Engages the VCUHS finance, business development, and strategy and marketing team members, and general counsel's office to coordinate initial business reviews and to design, build and deploy an effective and seamless System integration and transition process. Will build a team of regional directors as growth occurs.

Maximizes opportunities to advance and create health care business ventures, partnerships and mergers by establishing relationships and negotiating with potential business partners, managing high level stakeholder relationships, assessing the business risks and leveraging VCU Health System as an industry expert to achieve the desired closure of business deals.

Successfully transitions new ventures to other VCU Health System operational units to implement and manage the logistics of the new affiliation, merger or acquisition.

Qualifications
Required

Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum of ten years of experience in a complex health care setting as a senior executive responsible for strategic planning, market development or network relations.
