What you’ll be doing...
As our Project Manager – Loss Prevention Program – Corporate Security, you will facilitate project management activities associated with the Retail Loss Prevention program across multiple departments, functions and entities inside and outside Verizon. You will proactively engage with other retail teams to identify and mitigate areas of opportunity creating risk associated to our employees, customers, and our assets. You will be responsible for providing Loss Prevention expertise and managing high impact projects related to retail.
Interface with teams within National Operations, Marketing, Store Design, Corporate Security, and industry and vendor partners who have a direct impact on retail security.
Manage LP projects, project scopes, which will include armored car program management, cash/inventory safe program management, store design implications on LP, and liaise with multiple internal and external teams and partners.
Develop and present information that supports fact based analysis of issues impacting safety and security for the retail business, its employees and customers.
Provide strategic and safety and risk mitigation direction based on findings.
Develop loss prevention policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct executive briefings.
Maintain strong knowledge base of the retail organization and strategy.
Establish and integrate PMO measures, metrics and portfolio management practices.
Manage cross-functional and detailed project plans.
Lead cross-functional teams on process development, mitigation strategy development and implementation, administration and documentation.
Seek industry best practices through partnership with ORCA’s, NRF, and LPRC.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of loss prevention, retail operations, inventory management, and current loss prevention practices.
Willingness to travel.
Valid driver's license.
Even better if you have:
Project Management skill set.
Ability to analyze data to present logical conclusions.
Ability to resolve conflict and facilitate decision-making.
Ability to make complex decisions based on experience, analysis and judgment.
Ability to be flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and/or GSuite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Ability to easily communicate complex business issues; create and maintain executive and employee communication plans.
Certifications: LPC, PMP, CPP.
