Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk areas, including credit risk, operational risk, market risk, reputation risk, and compliance risk. Corporate Risk strives to ensure that all Wells Fargo corporate functions and lines of business soundly manage risk, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and offer products and services that meet the needs of our customers. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
This position is within the Corporate Operational Risk, Risk Platform Solutions group. This position is responsible for working within the Risk Platform Solutions team and with partners across the organization to develop and publish user guides, job aids, virtual help documentation, etc. in support of the various solutions in the Shared Risk Platform.
Duties will include the following: Partnering with clients to analyze audience and developing strategy to address technical documentation needs Designing and developing complex technical documentation including: business requirements, technical and functional specifications and other technical project artifacts, manuals, technical presentations, technical training materials, and/or complex web content Analyzing, recommending and documenting technical or business procedures and best practices, identifying process gaps and offering alternatives Actively participating in developing documentation strategy, policy and guidelines May include managing projects related to technical/business process implementation May include editing material authored by others
A successful candidate will possess the following: Proven experience prioritizing multiple deliverables Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive Demonstrated ability to communicate, cultivate relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders Ability to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, good listener who engenders creative thinking Ability to adapt to a changing environment Ability to interpret, convey and report on complex operational issues in an informative manner Experience with RSA Archer or other Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool(s) Experience with publication to SharePoint Required Qualifications
5+ years of technical documentation and publication experience Desired Qualifications
Process definition and documentation experience
Extensive knowledge and understanding of professional technical writing processes and tools
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Banking industry experience
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of maintaining and updating SharePoint team web content Other Desired Qualifications Experience publishing to a PDF format and Screen Shot training documentation Experience with publication to SharePoint Experience with RSA Archer or other Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool(s) Disclaimer
