Job Title: Birthday Party and Family Fun Coordinator - Part-Time
Branch: West Chester Area YMCA
Location: West Chester, PA (Airport Road)
Shifts/Availability: Must be available both week days and weekends, based on birthday parties and family fun events.

Position Purpose: The West Chester Area YMCA is looking for an experienced individual to assume the Child Watch Coordinator leadership role, including administrative, programmatic and delivery of the Child Watch program in accordance with YMCA program quality standards
Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise weekly activities for Family Membership holders
Supervise staff and children to provide a safe, interactive program for family event participants
Ensure set-up and clean-up of events and birthday parties
Ability to multi-task and follow procedures & policies.
Demonstrate and oversee interaction of staff and children.
Assist parents and children when necessary.
Exhibit outstanding member service skills while directly communicating with parents.
Maintain a positive attitude, especially under stressful situations
Commit to a weekly one-on-one meeting with Family Programs Director
Assist with staff scheduling for weekly events and birthday parties
Assist with planning and implementation of additional events as needed
Qualifications:
Prior knowledge and experience with party planning
At least 21 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED
Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
