Job Title: Child Watch Associate Part-time
Branch: Kennett Area YMCA
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Shifts/Availability:
Two shift minimum plus one Parent's Night Out shift. Some evenings and weekends.
Child Watch department is open 8am-8pm on weekdays, 8am-1pm on weekends.

Position Purpose: The Kennett Area YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Child Watch Associate to provide a safe and caring environment for children while in YMCA care.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day operations of our Child Watch area
Provide a safe, interactive, fun and caring environment for children in YMCA care
Oversee the safety and whereabouts of the children at all times
Maintain a clean and risk free room arrangement
Maintain records, including, but not limited to: accident and incident reports, sign in/out sheets
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Must be at least 15 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED preferred
Enjoys working with children and prior experience working with children, preferred
Must have ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents
