Order Operations Associate

Zendesk is seeking a highly efficient and dynamic Order Operations Associate to join our Revenue Operations team in our Madison, Wisconsin office. The ideal candidate would be a self starter who can easily manage their time and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environment. The main objective of this role will be to support sales reps in our Quote to Service Order process to ensure deals align with our corporate strategies, pass Finance audits, and meet our business goals.

Additional languages (Portuguese and/or Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales reps to teach standard methodologies and help prepare large and/or strategic deals for management review.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to guide sales reps through the deal flow process and review each Service Order to ensure it conforms to Finance audit reviews and revenue recognition policies.
  • Drive dedicated communication with internal business partners such as: Sales, Finance Operations, Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Sales Management on any urgent orders or exceptions.
  • Bring your creatively thinking to drive system and process improvements.
  • Maintain focus, processing throughput, and professional composure in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume periods such as month and quarter end.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in unstructured environments but can adapt to processes quickly.
  • High degree of comfort with data entry-related activities, including keyboard shortcuts, dual screen validating, and multi-window management.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in establishing relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Operational experience with both transactional as well as large, strategic enterprise deals is a plus.
  • Some analytical skills and experience with contract/Service Order management and analysis is helpful.
  • Additional languages (Portuguese and/or Spanish) is preferred.
  • Experience working with G-Suite Sheets, Docs, and Slides a plus.
  • Experience with SalesForce (SFDC), ZQuotes (Zuora) and Conga also a plus.
