Go to suntrust.com/careers, jobs.suntrust.com or careers.suntrust.com to land on SunTrust Bank careers page on which it displays several ways for you to specify the exact job title you want to apply for. You can view the navigation bar and click the featured jobs or search by locations or just click "Not finding a job" under whose drop-down box presents a selection - View All Jobs. Or you can search the open positions by entering your keywords and location in the searching box and then click "Search Jobs" or view the featured positions in your area of interest and select one for you by clicking the corresponding link. Here we choose to input keywords to find the specific job title.
After you input the keywords in the previous step, you'll be presented the search results where you can filter a specific job by entering job title, location and date or you can just click the job title on the list if it is your ideal job. Here we just take the second way of choosing one job title from the search results as an example to guide you though the whole application process.
In this section, you're asked to read the job description, qualifications, schedule, etc and make sure you are ok with all the requirements and then click "Apply Now" at the top or the bottom of the page and enter your email to move on.
If you are a registered user, just sign in, If you are not a member of SunTrust Bank, you're welcomed to create one by filling out your profile info, after which you can click "Next" at the bottom of the page and then accept the Privacy Agreement to move on to the next step.
In step 5, you need to upload your resume from your computer first and then answer some company questions like "Are you currently a SunTrust employee?" " Will you require sponsorship in order to continue employment with SunTrust in the future?" etc..
Step 6 asks you to fill out your personal info, especially the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) and then answer some job specific questions. Once the fields are completed, click on "Save and Continue" to proceed.
Step 7 is a condensed version of 3 concrete steps. In this part, you're required to list your work experiences, starting with the most current one, fill out your education background info and diversity info by doing a
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability.
Step 8 requires your to complete a assessment questionnaire and attach files to the candidate record (e.g.: cover letter, resume, references, transcripts, etc.). Afterwards, you need to read the statement carefully and acknowledge that you have read and approved it by providing the information requested at the bottom of the page and then accept the Consumer Consent and type your e-signature to move on.
Review and submit your application by clicking the Submit button. You can modify the corresponding info by clicking the Edit link.
After 9 steps of filling out information, you'll finally come to the page below showing that your application process has been completed. The company will review your information and contact you if you are identified as one of the most highly qualified candidates.
